Roulette Game Odds or Evens
In online roulette, there is a bet you can place called an 'Odds' or 'Evens' bet. As
the name suggests, you can bet on the upcoming number either being odd or even.
This bet works on exactly the same principle as 'Red' or 'Black' roulette game bet
where you can bet on the color of the upcoming number.
Obviously given that both of these bets have only two variables (odds and evens,
black or red), the odds of winning such a bet is 50%.
For this reason, online roulette games only pay out 2:1 for winning odds or
color bets.
This is the difference between 'low odds' bets such as an odds or evens bet and
a 'high odds' bet such as a single number bet, which usually pays out 35:1.
